Analysis of Students’ Approach to School Subjects and Factors Influencing this Approach


Contrary to social sciences and arts natural sciences are in general considered to be very unpopular among the pupils and students. A question is whether this is a reality or only a commonly accepted myth. Decreasing numbers of students applying for university studies in natural science branches prove this myth partially. A research on possibilities to eliminate students` negative approaches to some subjects through an appropriate utilization of multimedia and information and communication technologies in their teaching was done by the Institute of Technology of Education (Faculty of Education, Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra) in co-operation with a high school (Gymnazium Golianova ul. in Nitra).
